These fix most common issues in BigBlueButton.
- Press Ctrl + R or click refresh
- Rejoin the session
- Open the class in Google Chrome (recommended)
- Avoid outdated browsers
- Click the 🔒 lock icon in the address bar
- Allow:
- Reload the page
- Use stable internet
- Avoid public WiFi
- Try switching to mobile data or another network
- Leave the meeting
- Join again using the same link
- Close all browser tabs
- Open browser again
- Join the class
- Restart your laptop or phone
- Join the class again
Close apps that may use camera or mic:
- Zoom
- Google Meet
- Microsoft Teams
- If possible, join using another device
- Example: switch from mobile → laptop
Most issues are caused by:
- Permission blocked
- Wrong device selected
- Weak internet
